    • Acute inflammatory conditions
      • Fever (over 38°C)
      • Acute viral, bacterial, or fungal infections (e.g., flu, tonsillitis, COVID-19)
      • Inflammation of blood vessels, joints, muscles, or lymph nodes

    • Contagious and skin diseases
      • Skin infections (impetigo, boils, abscesses, scabies, fungal infections)
      • Infectious diseases (AIDS-stage HIV, active tuberculosis)
      • Active herpes (especially around the face)

    • Malignant cancers (without physician approval)

    • Deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, phlebitis

    • Advanced heart or kidney failure

    • Recent injuries or surgeries (within 6 weeks)

    • Acute phase of stroke or heart attack (until fully stabilized)

    • Uncontrolled hypertension (over 180/110 mmHg)

    • Aneurysms (especially aortic)

    • Severe acute psychiatric disorders

  • Relative contraindications (require caution, modification, or medical consultation):

    • Pregnancy (especially 1st and 3rd trimester)
      • Massage can be performed between week 12 and week 36, provided that medical approval is obtained and the techniques are adapted to the needs of the pregnant woman.

    • Epilepsy (uncontrolled)

    • Varicose veins / venous insufficiency

    • Diabetes (especially insulin-dependent)

    • Advanced osteoporosis

    • Autoimmune conditions (e.g., lupus, RA)

    • Non-contagious skin conditions (e.g., psoriasis, eczema)

    • Cancer treatment (during or post)
      • Massage possible with physician’s consent and adapted protocol

    • Bleeding disorders / anticoagulant therapy

    • Thyroid disorders (hyper-/hypothyroidism)

    • Severe unexplained pain (requires diagnosis)

  • 1. Nature of Services
    The sessions I offer are supportive, relaxing, and focus on self-regulation of the body. They are not medical treatments as defined by the Norwegian healthcare system.

    2. Qualifications and Legal Status
    I am currently undergoing the recognition process for my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
    and Diploma in Osteopathy in Norway. Until full authorization is obtained, I operate as an independent massage practitioner without a Norwegian license as a physiotherapist or osteopath. My services do not replace medical consultations with licensed healthcare professionals. 

    3. Confidentiality and Personal Data
    All information shared during sessions is kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of your appointment. I do not process or store medical records.
    My work complies with Norwegian law and data protection regulations (GDPR).

    4. Payment and Cancellation Policy
    Payment can be made via Vipps. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. For late cancellations or no-shows, the full fee may be charged.

    5. Health Conditions
    Please inform me of any serious health conditions, pregnancy, recent surgeries, or medications. I reserve the right to refuse a session if there are medical contraindications.

    6. Age Limit
    I do not offer treatments for individuals under the age of 18.

    7. Prohibited behaviour: 

    In accordance with Norwegian law — Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act § 13 and Working Environment Act § 4-3 — all forms of sexual harassment are strictly prohibited. If these boundaries are crossed, I reserve the right to immediately terminate the treatment and ask the client to leave the premises.
